Ice Cream Factory

Charles Horn sold ice cream at his boardwalk pavilion until it was destroyed by storm in 1914. He re-built his business on the north side of ocean block Rehoboth Avenue, including a roller rink, ice cream shop, storefront rentals, and a theater. He added his own ice cream factory at the back of the roller rink. The above picture identifies the location on the diorama where the factory will be positioned, just where it was in 1915.
